Dr Bernd Siewert attended the Christian Albrechts University, Kiel, Germany and then worked in Hamburg while completing his doctorate (The calcification of the falx as pathognomonic sign when Gorlin Goltz-Syndrome). Dr Siewert moved to Spain and practiced in Malaga and Madrid, specialising in implantology. For 20 years he has been Director of his private practice at Clinica Somosaguas, Madrid. He has also been an instructor at the International Training Centre of Dental Implantology ( IFZI ) Nuremberg since 2007.

Dr Siewert frequently lectures at national and international level and is the author of numerous publications – often the topics being ceramic implants or prosthetics made using the PEEK high performance polymer, the latter of which he has work with for the last 8 years.
